CFC Kids for Christ aims to provide a Christian support environment for Kids of Couples for Christ members who are between the ages of 4-12.

Owing to the wide age range covered by the ministry, we have programs for the Junior Kids, those of ages 4 to 8, and the Senior Kids, those of 9 to 12.

Realizing that a program for kids needs to be simply understood, exciting and fun-filled, we have put a premium on four characteristics for our Kids for Christ program.

  • It is fun - activities are enjoyable and stimulate the child's creativity, perception, and sensitivity.
  • It is build upon friendship - activities encourage members to build strong friendships with one another.
  • It enhances faith - activities explain Christian faith elements in kids language.
  • It allows free but responsible expression - activities respect the kids for who and what they are and what they can be.

KFC Global

Kids for Christ, as a family ministry of Couples for Christ, are wherever CFC is. CFC is now in 78 provinces all over the country; and in 108 countries all over the world. There are over 500,000 couples worldwide as of the end of 2001.

The Power & Super Program

The foundation values of the KFC's Power Program for male kids are the development of courage, compassion, competence and commitment. Similarly, the core values of KFC's Super Program For female kids are the development faith, confidence, love and strength.

The International Kids Village

Annually in the last four years, Kids for Christ convenes close to 3,000 kids in transition age (9 to 12 years) from all over the country to an International Kids Village where kids get together with other KFCs, older brothers and sisters (Kuya/Ate) who handle the program, parents, as well as couple coordinators, who give adult guidance to the program. The ":Kids Village" weekend experience features interesting talks with pastoral content given in kids language, fun games, a fire host bath, the Kids Praise Parade, and the search for the Ten Outstanding Kids for Christ members.

The School Based Program

KFC is established as a school club in selected grade schools. We have a girls as well as a boy's school model.

Work with the Poor

Working towards introducing the KFC members to the cause of the poor - we launched "Piso Para Sa Kapatid Ko!". It is a campaign for Kids members to fill up 2,400 coin banks to be used to support the education of the less fortunate children of Bagong Slang, a squatter relocation community in Caloocan, which is Couples for Christ's center for its "Work with the Poor" program. KFC also staged a play entitled "Regalo! Regalo!", which showcased the talents of the members of KFC and the SAGIP Program. It dealt with the importance of family values, friendship and the need to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor.
